The Over-time Series
These site-specific works are an investigation of a riverbank, a stretch of coastal heathland,  and a hillside. Utilising hyper-local wild clay, they represent a response to the immediate environment, engaging the concept of the landscape as a palimpsest. Due to the sensitive style of making the materials maintain their provenance and express an investigation into the relationship between time and the natural forces within a place. The pieces are a testament to the incredibly diverse memory of clay and its malleability to its surrounding environment.
